LUIGI MAINOLFI
Luigi Mainolfi was Born in 1948 in Rotondi Valle Caudina, Italy. During his young age, he begins to draw and attends the class of painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti.
The artist “acting” is to destroy the casts he previously made, using different materials such as paper, stones, bronze, wood and iron.
Among the several exhibitions, he took part in 1981 at the Sao Paulo Biennial in Brazil, in 1982 at Documenta 7 in Kassel, at the XL Venice Biennial and at the Paris Biennial.
