FERNANDA BRUNET
Fernanda Brunet was born in 1964 in Mexico City, where she currently lives and works. From 1995 to 2002 she lived in Brooklyn. She has exhibited extensively in Mexico and in numerous group exhibitions in the USA. Brunet’s work has gone through different stages in which color monopolizes our attention. Her stroke and composition refer immediately to the visual language used in comics or manga.
Her work is part of important collections such as Peter Stuyvesant Foundation, British American Tobacco, San Diego Museum of Art, The Jumex Collection, The Weisman Foundation and Jaureguia Museum. He obtained the Acquisition in Painting Award at the VI Monterrey FEMSA Biennial.
